Episode 7: That Smell a.k.a. The Boulder Boogie!

Ooh oh that smell…can’t you smell that smell? Yes, it’s finally done! What? My recap of the FMQB Triple A conference in Boulder. A little insight to what it is as well as snippets of 22 live performances from the likes of Ray LaMontagne, Train, Ryan Adams and many more. St. Paul and the Broken Bones was my favorite. As for the smell, it’s Colorado in 2014…or is that just an excuse for an occasional shaky camera? Ready, set, let’s roll baby!!

Episode 6: TBT Saxon and Savana Meet Ozzy at KNAC

Instead of the typical “Throwback Thursday” photo post I decided to post a video. This took place on 10/12/91, my son Saxon’s second birthday. He was an Ozzy fan at 2 years old. He’d walk around the house singing “No More Tears” which was the new song from Ozzy at the time. I was doing a show on KNAC with Riki Rachtman called Radio Cathouse. Riki was also the host of Headbangers Ball on MTV at the time so he could pull big names into the studio just about every week. As fate would have it Ozzy’s visit and Saxon’s birthday fell on the same day.

My daughter Savana was there too. I’m still not sure if I’m comfortable with the way that this ended even all these years later.

ENJOY!
